Otherwise known as their “Viña Lanciano,” this deliciousness is from LAN’s renowned Lanciano vineyard. The wine is historic, as it paved the way for single-vineyard Rioja in what has always been a traditionally-minded appellation, where cross-vineyard blending was the norm, even in top bottlings.

…So, it goes without saying the Lanciano Reserva is truly the flagship of LAN.

Stylistically, Viña Lanciano is very detailed and balanced, with seven months in new Russian-oak barrels and twelve months in French (very fine-grained Chateauroux and Loches) barrels, followed by a nice two years in bottle prior to loading a container – making this your perfect holiday red!

We started bringing this in as a special order, and recently booked a tranche of it for your December offer pleasure. The usual $29.99/btl pricing is just fine, but it would be fun to celebrate the holidays with a BANG and go out in the $18’s!
