Das Juice 2022 White Adelaide Hills
A winemaking project from James Audas and Tom Sheer in the Adelaide Hills, Australia. A blend of Sauvignon Blanc from Brackenwood, Riesling from Brackenwood and Semillon from Magpie Springs all hand picked over the course of a week. The fruit was de-stemmed then pressed to tank for a slow natural ferment and left on solids for 6 months to flesh it out. Finished with a small sulphur addition prior to bottling. Citrus highs and herbaceous lows. A wicked punch of acid with lime cordial notes that takes the typical ‘SSB’ blend to new heights. Picnic wine.

Weingut Felsner 2024 Grüner Veltliner Niederösterreich ‘Lossterrassen’ Manfred Felsner cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards from some of the Kremstal wine region’s most expressive sites, all surrounding the picturesque villages of Rohrendorf and Gedersdorf. Unusually old vineyard stock is what sets Felsner apart from their creative/indie Austrian peers. More than half of Felsner’s Gruner Veltliner parcels are classified as “old vine,” and most of these root 30+ feet deep, adding an extract and substance to finished wine that has to be experienced to be believed. Young, charming and fruity nose, with hints of citrus and fresh stone fruit. Lovely white peach, melon and floral flavors. A pleasant, refreshing and easy going wine, and a prime example of Grüner Veltliner at an attractive price. This food-loving wine works with dishes from sushi to roast pork.

Mussio 2024 Pinot Grigio
Giuseppe Mussio was born in the commune of Zoppola in Italy in 1894 in a very humble household. After 40 years in America, Giuseppe Mussio decided to move back to his Friuli homeland and pursue his passion for Italian wines. Today, Mussio wines still express the tenacious spirit of Giuseppe and the people of Friuli. The Mussio Pinot Grigio was born out of the desire to pay homage to the history of Friulian immigrant Giuseppe Mussio. The wines are the expression of the simplicity, audacity and tenacity of Friuli immigrants like Giuseppe that contributed to spread the knowledge of their roots in the world. This classic Pinot Grigio is fruity, balanced, with hints of nuts and toasted bread.

Bodegas LAN 2024 Verdejo Two women; four hands working towards the same goal. Olga Tormo represents Castilian rigor and the identity of Verdejo. María Barúa is the heart and soul of LAN, the custodian of a style. That’s how the LAN Verdejo was born. Here, the grapes were taken from a selection of plots, all ranging between 17 and 30 years of age, from Estate vineyards (Los Llanos and Avutarda Estate) and from long standing suppliers (El Gato Estate). This verdejo has a pronounced aromatic complexity marked by white fruit and mineral notes, as well as hints of aniseed. Broad and full bodied on the palate, with a creamy texture and a spark of noticeable acidity that extends the palate and lengthens the finish.
