Hiruzta 2023 Txakoli Rosado Fresh vintage! The name Hiruzta means “a three-person harvest” in Basque, referring to winery owners Asensio Rekalde and his sons Txarli and Angel, whose shared dream of creating a winery in Hondarribia is now a reality. Txakoli production in this village dates back to 1186, however the tradition was lost during a long stretch of warfare that only subsided as recently as the 1980’s. Through years of work, the Rekalde family has recovered and revitalized Hondarribia’s viticultural heritage, with nine vineyard plots that sit in the Jaizkibel foothills that surround the winery. Here we have a fresh, contemporary-style rosé Txakoli made from the Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltz grapes! Rich aromas of red and black fruits: strawberries, blackberries and black currants, over a citrus background and fine vegetable notes. Try it with sheep cheeses!

Santiago Ruiz 2023 Rías Baixas Blanco Most talk of Albariño wine inevitably leads back to talk of Bodega Santiago Ruiz and its founder, Mr. Santiago Ruiz, a man hailed as the “inventor” of Albariño wine. Located in the district of O Rosal, this bodega is one of the leading producers in Rias Baixas. A stout defender of the quality of Galicia’s native grapes, Santiago Ruiz became an ambassador for Rias Baixas’ wines, traveling the length and breadth of Spain (mostly on foot), with the goal of heightening awareness of Rias Baixas among the most select restaurateurs and opinion leaders of the early 1980s.

Giuliano Rosati 2022 Pinot Grigio Winemakers Giuseppe and Luigi Anselmi create this wine from the Anselmi’s 600-acre estate near the sea in Veneto. This is traditional Pinot Grigio: stainless steel, fresh and tangy. 100% organically farmed, estate bottled with clean, crisp aromas of apple, citrus, and peach carry over to the fruity and refreshing palate. Easy drinking and easy to love, pair this wine with a zesty pasta, seafood dish, or an appetizer cheese board over Thanksgiving.

Yves Cuilleron 2023 ‘Vignes d’a Cote’ Marsanne Cuilleron Estates is a producer in the northern Rhône and has been in the Cuilleron family for three generations, but it is the estate’s current owner and winemaker, Yves Cuilleron, who has expanded the size, scope, and scale of the vineyard, land holdings, and winery. The vines here are grown in the commune of Chavanay, called the “Vignes d’à coté” because it’s main vines neighbor this appellation. Pleasant and aromatic with a nose composed of white fruits, delicate flowers and citrus peels. Well-balanced, and fresh on the palate with a spiced finish. Perfect with Turkey and gravy!

Henri Bourgeois 2023 Petit Bourgeois Sauvignon Blanc For 10 generations, Henri Bourgeois has offered their passion and values as winegrowers to develop Sauvignon Blancs and Pinot Noirs of great character. Each member of their family, Jean-Marie Bourgeois, Arnaud, Lionel and Jean-Christophe, bring their talent to the Domaine. Established in Chavignol, in the heart of the best terroirs of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, they cultivate a mosaic of plots respecting the unique terroirs of Kimmeridgian Marl, Silex, Clay and Limestone. Remarkably aromatic with pleasant flower and fruit fragrances with a freshness and vivacity that is pure and clean. Here is an excellent aperitif that is also outstanding with fish, seafood and certain white meats. Enjoy Petit Bourgeois with a halibut steak in lemon butter, a kingfish carpaccio, some grilled white fish or goat cheese.

Maison Michaut 2023 Chablis Domaine Michaut is located in the village of Chichée in north-central France, halfway between Paris and Dijon. It is owned and managed by Maison François Martenot, situated in Vignoles, a village in eastern France, bordering Beune.
The Maison was founded in 1922 when Lucien Gustave Martenot purchased a 10-hectare estate in Savigny-lès-Beaune, dating to 1859. Through the years, more estates were acquired, including Domaine Michaut. In 2015, the Helfrich Family acquired the estate and merged cutting-edge technology with traditional techniques to produce award-winning wines. 2023 is considered a GREAT vintage. This wine celebrates the vintage with incredible bright, fresh, clean, pure fruit. The wine has a perfect balance and purity.
