Chateau Guillaume Blanc 2018 Bordeaux Supérieur  Chateau Guillaume Blanc Bordeaux Supérieur, hailing from the prestigious Bordeaux region of France, showcases the elegance and depth typical of this esteemed area. This wine opens with an enticing nose of dark cherries, cassis, and subtle hints of cedar and tobacco. On the palate, it reveals layers of blackcurrant, ripe plum, and a touch of vanilla, complemented by well-integrated tannins and a smooth, lingering finish. Pair it with duck confit, wild mushroom risotto, or a charcuterie board featuring cured meats and hard cheeses to enhance its rich flavors and enjoy a memorable dining experience.

Ignacio Marin Old Vine Garnacha  With roots dating back to 1903, Bodegas Ignacio Marín’s vineyards are located in the heart of Carin?ena, at an average altitude of 2000 feet. Here loose, stony soils and the Mediterranean climate guarantees perfect ripening of the grapes. This 100% Garnacha comes from 75+ year old vines, producing a wine with intense red cherry and floral notes with juicy tannins and great acidity that creates a very approachable wine for any occasion.

Sainte Catherine 2015 Côtes du Roussillon Blend of 35% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 30% Carignan Languedoc-Roussillon. A rich Roussillon red. The grapes are harvested by hand, fermentation is natural, and the wines are bottled without filtration. What ends up in your glass is greater than the sum of the parts: an inky, royal purple robe gives way to aromas of black cherry and Provençal olives with a hint of peppercorn. The palate has meatiness, with grain and texture—it sinks in and lingers, serving as a reminder that you’ve found a wine not simply of great value but of true quality from one of the village’s best.

Little Sheep 2018 Pinot Noir  From Marlborough, New Zealand’s most prestigious viticultural region, comes this intense and racy Pinot Noir, one of the oldest grapes used for wine and can be dated back to the first century when the Romans began to cultivate the grape. The Little Sheep of France is exceptionally smooth, with soft, silky tannins, red fruit aromas and cherry flavors. A Pinot Noir that’s made in a modern style. Great with lamb, mild cheese and salad.

Allegria 2017 Poivre de Mourvèdre  Eight years ago Ghislain and Delphine d’Abocille found paradise on the southern slope of Les Baumes, an extinct volcano overlooking the Haut Languedoc town of Pezenas. This windy site called out to them as ideally suited to the production of interesting wines and more importantly as a rural location perfect for raising their tight-knit family of seven. Sourced from low yielding, 40-year-old Mourvedre vines that sit on the western edge of the property. Named for the peppery notes from this varietal that emerge when one keeps skins in contact with the wine for a longer period of time. Aged in mostly used, tight grain Eastern European barrels to bring aromatic complexity without adding overwhelming oak flavors.

Rivallana 2016 Rioja Reserva  The Grupo Bodegas Olarra started out in 1973 with the construction of a wine cellar for making great Rioja wines on the outskirts of Logroño. A project by the great architect Juan Antonio Ridruejo that began with a clear objective: to make a great Rioja wine within everyone’s reach, in a singular space. “This red has good density yet remains graceful. The velvety texture carries ripe plum and boysenberry flavors, with accents of toast, cedar and anise. Well-integrated tannins and fresh acidity keep it balanced. Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano. Drink now through 2028. 7,500 cases made, 4,400 cases imported.” -92 pts Wine Spectator
