Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur 2021 Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Blanc Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur was established on the slopes of Nuits-Saint-Georges in 1596, and is currently managed by Yvan Dufouleur and his uncle Xavier. Four hundred years is a long time for any winery, and through the centuries the family has acquired a whopping 28 hectares of prime vineyard sites extending from Fixin to Santenay. Farming is natural, and cellar work is hands-off. These sensory, revelatory wines are a must for anyone interested in distinctive Burgundy. 100% Chardonnay sourced from a site that is low yielding, 6.6 acre plot whose grapes always seem to create an interesting honey/nettle note on the palate.

Henri Bourgeois 2022 “En Travertin” Pouilly Fumé For ten generations now the Bourgeois family has devoted its passion and values to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, becoming Sancerre’s most well-known producer. The company is now led by the current generation of the family – Jean-Marie and Remi Bourgeois. The winery and family base is the village of Chavignol, and Domaine holdings can be found on a mosaic of plots throughout Sancerre and Pouilly Fume. Characterized by a fruity and floral bouquet, this Sauvignon Blanc is a great example of the family skills built up over 10 generations. Citrus, apple and gooseberry with hints of passion fruit are found in this lively and bright wine.

Caveau Savoyard 2022 Savoie Apremont Located in the foothills of the Alps, Savoie neighbors Jura (north), Switzerland (east), and Bugey (west across the Rhône), Caveau Savoyard was founded in 1853, and is currently run by the seventh generation of the Perrier family. Apremont lies on the western side of la Cluse de Chambéry facing Chignin and is one of the better known white wine crus of the Savoie, steep, high altitude slopes on glacial deposits with limestone. Floral notes, ripe pear and subtle citrus aromas with flavors of green apple and white peach. Stony minerality and balanced acid make this zesty, bright and fresh with a slightly saline finish.

Colterenzio 2021 Chardonnay “Altkirch” Colterenzio is one of the newest wineries in South Tyrol, composed of over 300 families working together. This is a new-generation cooperative that smashes preconceptions, proving that a humble “coop” can consistently deliver some of the most transparent, expressive wines in the top flight region of Alto Adige. Member-winegrowers farm their grapes on a total of 300 hectares; the vineyards are located in one of the best wine growing sub-districts of Alto Adige. This location-specific Chardonnay represents a tier up from the “regular” wines you see from Colterenzio, and is pale yellow with green reflections in color, with delicate floral aromas. The palate is infused with hints of exotic fruits reminiscent of pineapple, and mango; on the palate it is a concentration of mellowness and vivacity with classic mineral notes and crisp acidity.

Pajot Côtes de Gascogne 2018 Rosé Pinot Noir Aged Rosé ready to drink now! This could be considered a chillable red, and we find the age adds some depth to this wine. Domaine de Pajot – The father and son team of Damien and Clement Barreau are known in Gascogne as one of the regions quality leaders, and their 45 hectares of vineyard land are planted to five grape varieties: Gros-Manseng, Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir from their newest vineyard, which is the source for this release. As with their Gascogne Blanc (a Vino! customer favorite), grapes here are organically farmed. Strawberry in color, fresh, clean, with good aromatic persistence. Flavors of red fruits, cherries, and citrus fruit. We said it once and we will say it again – Pair this with stuffed/braised cabbage rolls!!

Casa Bauza NV Gala In 1903 Lorenzo Bauzá Juan arrived in Chile from Mallorca, Spain, alone but determined to thrive in his new home. He planted fruit and began making Pisco. In 1998 the family planted vineyards in the northern Maipo Valley region of Til Til to produce table wine. 64.4% Pinot Noir 35.6% Chardonnay produced through a Traditional Method, where the expedition liquor is a white 40o Pisco of the Pink Moscatel variety. Floral and white fruit notes that join notes of toast, sponge cake and honey. Freshness and mineralogy, allowing for a fitting balance in the sweet notes.

Thank you for your support of the family winegrowers we work with!
