When we see press like this on Casablanca Sauvignon from the always-stingy Vinous Media, we step away from the foosball table, dial the winery, and grab every last case available.

Yes – This wine has been a “go-to” for those of you in the know for some years now, but this 2021 release from a plot in the cool-climate Las Dichas district is unusually excellent:

“The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Secreto from Las Dichas, Casablanca, is yellow in color with a nose of asparagus, jalapeño, grass, and lime. The intense, fatty palate has a texture defined by the lees, while intense acidity and slight bitterness develop at the back of the mouth. 90 points” (reviewed at $14) – Vinous

If we price this in the $9’s things should get fun?
