With few exceptions, from the village-level up to the 1er Crus, 2020 vintage red burgundy releases are open-knit and delicious right now…sometimes delicious to the point of irresistibility, as evidenced by some hangovers here this morning (when blasting through the sample lineup last night, some of us possibly “forgot” to spit as the fills on today’s 1er Fixin, Valmuriens, and Glos Genets fell progressively lower…)
