Gerad Fiou 2023 Sancerre Pinot Noir Rose Domaine Gerard Fiou is a nine hectare family estate which was created several generations ago by Gerard Fiou’s ancestors. Fiou serves as an important piece of our Loire portfolio, as the estate sits on the famous flinted hills of St-Satur in the eastern portion of the Sancerre appellation – Only a small percentage of terroir in Sancerre is made up of this soil type, which is much more common in neighboring Pouilly-Fume. This, combined with unusually old vines, means memorable Sancerre with deep minerality. This Sancerre Rosé is a rosé de saignée: juice is obtained by draining (“bleeding”) vats of Pinot Noir (100%!) juice after 48 hours of cold maceration.
Bodegas Sierra Norte 2023 Bobal Rose The Bobal grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards grown in a balanced, caring and sustainable way. The vineyards’ soils carry great importance, being very active with good biological conditions that favor a fast assimilation of reincorporated organic matter. This enables full terroir expression. This wine is fruity and intense on the nose with floral, strawberry, and pomegranate aromas. Fresh on the palate with pleasant flavors. Very well structured, crisp and delicious!
Domaine la Rocaliere 2023 Tavel Rose Domaine la Rocalière was founded in 1995 by Jacques Borrelly, and his father, Armand Maby. The estate has become a ‘women’s business’ since 2009, as it is managed by his daughter, Séverine Lemoine, with the help of her sister, Mélanie. The cellar is located at the entrance to the village Tavel in the southern Rhône region, and their 40 hectares of vines are distributed throughout the Tavel and Lirac appellations, along with some in the commune of Pujaut. They produce their stunning red, white, and rosé wines from vines with an average age of 30 years. Grenache brings fat and fruity; the Cinsault finesse and length; Finally, Syrah and Mourvèdre, in addition to a beautiful color and aromas of red fruits, give a beautiful longevity to the wine as they slowly develop.

The grapes used for Conde de Valdemar Rosé originate from the winery’s own vineyards, located in Oyon, Logroño and Ausejo. This dry rosé wine from Bodegas Valdemar is just right for people who want 0.0 grams of sugar in their wine. The Conde Valdemar Rosado Rioja comes very close, as it was pressed with just 1.8 grams of residual sugar. Balanced and complex, this light rosé is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate.
